Default Scanguage Mount??

How and where did you mount your Scanguage? I would like to install it on a more permanent basis to monitor engine temperature, currently I just have it laying around.

Any suggestions?

I put mine on the dash in front of the odometer / shift indicator. Custom tuned the background color to match the rest of the trucks' LED displays. I can tell what gear I'm in from the center console, I don't really care how many miles are on it, and the wiring was super easy. Looks slick!

Mine is velcro mounted under the HVAC controls on the black plate where "some" D2's have the pop out drink holder. I ran the wire behind the dash, and dropped right there, then used velcro to hang it. Looks clean, and it's out of the way, but very easy to read.

I put mine at an angle in the center console right where the plastic starts to curve under the 4wd hi-lo instruction sticker. Thought it was a slick and great place to put it but gets slightly blocked once the 4 Lo is engaged. Nothing a little head tilt can't fix for a quick reading though.

I have had mine velcroed to both the steering cowl and underneath the coin tray. I like it on the cowl best.

In a Ferrari/Porsche, the tach is the most important instrument. In a Toyota, it's the speedometer, and in our Disco it's the temp gauge.

Seems like a member removed the coin tray and mounted it there.
