Scarr 2014
Got the tarantula and for anyone wondering it really was a Tarantula. Not slang for some type of beachwear
I ate hot string cheese and warm bananas in a cooler with no ice so I think the kegerator is a bit out of my league. I think I need to take baby steps and just buy ice next time

My groups had minor casualties..
-Trailing arm to pretzel mod. (all the way into the frame)
-fried winch
-snapped winch line
-cdl linkage snapped
-3 d2 spring pop outs
-busted shock
-spilled beer (passenger, of course)
didn't see it but saw the aftermath
-the dude that busted his back glass on atv trail
-one guy rolled his d1 over on its side (rear panel, cargo glass, alpine glass, ds pass.door, rear corner panel, bumper)
Personally
- minor wrinkles on both rear panels
-wheel arch gone
-bent rear bumper
-bent tree slider thing (goofy extensions that I added to my rock sliders)
-caved in 2 jerrys
-bent shock mount
-lost some plastic (panel/bumper pieces) (part of roof rail corner)

Did you ever install those new mean green gears? If so, how did you like them?
Yeah, at one point Dusty's truck was very well camouflaged. He had several tree branches attached to his roof rack...hence the dented Jerry Cans. A tree huger he is not. Then there was the night trail ride with no lights. That was very interesting...I will admit, I puckered some.
Gears....yes. perfect for me, off road. i wouldn't change a thing. tt with traction control make it foolproof. no tires slipping, unless its all four. perfect pull and creep speed.
the lower gearing is fine, even with the 33s on the highway . If I had to complain it would be the added noise at highway speeds. the lockers not so much the gears make for a new sound. not annoying but noticeable hmmm, but was expected w/ detroit (has been past experience. I can always hear and feel them). don't know that the gears add to that, at all. 33s and 4:43 = 2750rpm @ 70mph....soon to swap to 34s for vacation and will see that little difference.
oh yeah, forgot about the ac and black out night trails (first time I saw cold smoke coming from the hood of a land rover).....that made it a bit of a challenge. Ralph, I plan on us doing a blacked out night trail, in reverse, with only mirror use next time. so that should, at least, add a little more excitement. especially with that cord of pine covering the mirrors.
