i scored some hella rallye 3000 from a local 96 disco that was for sale... the guy wanted 5000$ for the truck, even with a broken rear diff.

ayways these things are big.... it looked okay on the D1 ... but i donno about my D2

i also scored some D1 weatherguard window rain dleflectors for 25$, the rear fit fine but the front needed trimming to make it work witha D2... what do you think:

 

What is the ?

I have 500's and they suit me just fine, it is all in what you want/need.

I have had deflectors on mine for over a year now. They are smoked darker than yours and took a little getting used to when looking out the side, but they make it a lot quieter inside with wind noise. I can also leave the windows cracked in the summer and no one can get in.

 

my question is what looks better? the smaller 1000's or the larger 3000's

I would go with the 3K's if I had both, but that is for the output, not looks. The 1K's "look" better to me...

how would i mount the 1000's up high.... my homemade rack doesnt have any mounting tabs for high lights..... and i dont wanna take it off again to weld on it... i just had it powder coated ....

i decided to go with the 3000's... its insanly bright.....omg

 

I have the 4000's on Angus, I think they look perfect

 

could you make a light bar and bolt it to your rack ? at least it would be aa custom fit.

 

i think i'm gonna toss these hella 1000's up for sale... i dont think it would look right on my rack anyways, these 3000's are super bright.... heres some pics:
