Default Scrapyard run!

I am going to the scrapyard today and I was looking to see what parts I should get? Any parts prone to fail?
Thanks,
Tyler

drip rails, cup holders w/ inserts are some easier ones. Really when I go I'm on the look out for any part in better condition than what's on my truck. Could be door cards, seats, light housings. Might get lucky and find a roof rack or bumpers on the vehicle (rare but it does happen).

OK here goes, engine, gearbox, transfer box, steering box, prop shafts, axle front and rear, sunroof front and rear radiator, brakes, ACE system, cooling system, door glass, AC, headliner, headlights, side lights, doors, wings .......
just buy the whole car and get all the spares you are going to need , when you completed the refurb on yours sell the rest on to another deserving Land Rover owner

Just did this myself! I have a running list of maintenance items on my truck, including things that work, but maybe could be replaced. Take a few moments and comb through your truck and see what you would replace if you could, then take that list to the wrecking yard. I also find it helpful to research how to remove those items first, so you can be prepared with the correct tools.

I find em with aftermarket lifts/shocks quite often. I have scored a set of RTE rock rails for 36.00, but I missed a 65.00 arb front bumper and that sucked lol.

Interior trim/exterior trim, look for an aftermarket front drive shaft, head lights, dash bezel surround, center dash bezel, 04 CDL/03-04 SLABS, and anything you need/can use = grab. Junk yard D1/D2's are slowing down.

Drivers side mat... hell... all mats.
Whole fuse box assembly complete with extra fuses, fuse links and relays.
Both horn buttons.
