6700 shipped [for a 4.6 with performance cam] to Hawaii. So you are looking at 200 to 300 less for shipping in the 48.

I was quote about 7500 for them to do the swap. It has been a couple of years.

Sounds about right, especially if he got a 4.0 and not a 4.6.

anyone have any insight into working with the BECM on the d2? I am thinking that an engine swap like this, and one which I am keenly interested in, would require a crank sensor, and coolant info from the transmission to make that body computer happy? Id start swapping stuff now, if I knew I could reprogram or rewire and run the BECM without the original rover engine ECU and TCU.
