Default Sea Foam Before Oil Change?

Someone recommended adding Sea Foam to my oil just prior to having it changed. Can anyone support this?

It will knock out carbon deposits from your rings. It may also seep around your rings. Seafoam and then change the oil.

If you want to clean out your engine, consider using 1 quart of any engine flush 5 or 10 minutes before an oil change, you will get much better results. Then buy 2 cans of Seafoam, one for the gas tank one for an induction cleaning.

Nope, just unhook a vacuum line and suck the can slowly into the intake. Shut it off for 10 to 15 minutes. Fire it up and drive it like you stole it.

I thought you were asking about an induction cleaning before oil change. Don't use seafoam in the oil, use it in the gas tank and induction. If you want to flush your engine, buy an engine flush or switch to synthetics and let them do their job.
