Sea Foam and check engine light

Sea Foam and check engine light
I just Sea Foamed my engine tonight using the prescribed method, but killed the engine when the bottle emptied by accident. I saw the engine was dying, realised the bottle was empty, reached in to turn off the key, and the engine dieseled for a few seconds. After the 30-40 minute soak, I restarted it it after a few tries. From previous experience on this car, I was prepared for the SEL light to be on, but this time it flashed for about 15 seconds before going solid.
Once it stopped flashing, I drove a short distance to a highway and did 75-80MPH until the smoke stopped.
I have shut if off, restarted, driven, shut it off, etc a few times since then, but I am just trying to remember from last time I did this how long it took for the light to extinguish- 2 days or so if I remember right.
Any members have some insight into drive cycles, and what conditions need to be met for the light to extinguish?
I know, I should go to AutoZone or borrow the scanner from work to get a P code, but I was wondering if anyone else had run into this themselves.

I know the SEL light will go off after a few days, but I was just hoping someone knew which of the 3 or 4 different drive cycle types are required to turn off the light sooner. I am willing to drive like an idiot, doing the acceleration, deceleration, and other various drive cycle requirements to turn that dang light off. (I just don't want to stay late at work tomorrow night to clear them manually because I will get stuck there doing some kind of work not in my job description (like repairing the computer network, etc)
