This may be a stupid question, but I've seen folks talking about seafoam, what is it for?

it is a fuel treatment, they also have transmission treatment, which i wouldent use. I did the seafoam in my intake and it seemed to help a bit, some people say its bad, but i gave it a whirl. You can get it at auto zone.

so its a fuel treatment that would help clean out the fuel lines? i actually have a friend who worked as a mechanic for several years at land rover and he did not have clue what it was. in fact, he is going to do my 60K service as I told him to give the fule treatment a shot.

no, it cleans out your intake, and valves. It gets sucked in thru the vacume line, then you dump the other 1/2 of the can into the fuel tank. The dealerships have a product like this that they can use. BG also make a product and a machine that does this, it works better but costs more, call dealerships and ask if they can do the BG service.
