I have a 00 disco that was new to me and I thought the worse so I did the eduction cleaning and blew like 7 codes at the same time I was selling my 03 with the plus 4 plugs so I replaced the spark plugs they all looked black so I took some contact cleaner to them and put them in my 00! The next day had a death in the family and had to drive to AZ from ID had no problem!
So I don't think it your plugs I have never had a code yet but I did have the copper spark plugs and that was the problem!

With this misfire problem I was having, something was holding the #8 injector open. It was dumping fuel into the cylinder, while the other cylinders were running rich, and fouling the plugs. I was weird too. They were white on one side and fouled on the other.

Man I'm going to be glad when this bastard is fixed.
