Default Seat Lumbar Help?

Hi, I have a 2000 Disco with leather seats. The lumbar in my drivers side seat will expand, but I can't get it to release the air. I noticed when I play with the passenger side that when I push down on the lumbar switch it makes a clicking sound like it's opeing something to release the air. When I push down on my drivers side it does NOT make any sound at all. What do you all think is causing it not to release and how can I repair it? Thanks. D.C.

Either remove and clean the switch contacts or replace the switch, sounds like it is just not activating the solenode to release the air.

Default Lumbar still not working

Well after replacing the entire switch/seat adjustment the lumbar air bag still will not release the air. All of the other seat adjustments will work but I can not get the lumbar to make any sound pushing down on the button. It will add air, but not take it out. Any ideas on what to do next? Thanks

Have you checked all your fuses?

I have checked the three under the front side of the seat above the amp and they were all good. Any others I should know about?

Does anyone have any other ideas about this? I am out of ideas on what it could be. Could it be the mechanism inside the seat not functioning? If so? Has anyone been inside the seat before and how difficult is it. I was looking at the back of the seat and seeing how the leather attaches. I am thinking that it is going to be a pain in the a$$ to have to wrestle with the leather seat cover. Anyone had to do this before? Also, does anyone have a schematic of the seat/lumbar system.

Thanks,
DC

I would suggest you down load a free Rave Cd, the full shop manual for your truck, it should be able to help you.
