Default Secondary air pump flexible hose NOT FLEXIBLE

While taking off the Secondary Air pump, which was full of water for some unknown reason,

I broke the "Flexible" Secondary hose!

Is it ok to use some standard black heater hose from a autopart store? The "flexible" hose that broke is corrugated and not sure if it is that way for any reason. All it should have to do is carry air flow!

Mine broke and I used heater hose with no problems that I am aware. But, I'll take look when I can to see if it is collapsing.

Heat hose worked, but it puts alot of torque on the simple snap on connector to the air pump. I'm scared it's going to just pop off.

Does anyone know what the piping the OEM cross pipe is made out of. Might try to find a source and buy a roll of it.

Glad you got the heater hose on, I still haven't had time to see if mine collapses.

I think I popped the elbow out while trying to get heater hose on and it just popped back in, but it's been a while and memory is fuzzy.

JFal, That is a major OCD Cleaned engine. Come do mine.

Where did you get the Heat shield stuff that you put around the pipes and plug wires from!
