Yes. The locals at 4900 seem to be a bit above private party.

Figured I would price in the 3's and be done.

Will be away on business most of the week, so won't chase the misfire until next weekend.

Surprised by how much more power the X5 has.

Number 5 plug had a bit of carbon but not bad. Replaced and still happening, guess wire is next, though not today. Looks like a fun place to jam your hand ino to get at the wire.

In the write up section there is a "how to" on replacing the plug wires without removing the intake manifold.

Thanks, I will look for it.

Does it work for SAI cars as well?

Where's the best place to get wires at?

Hope that's all it is at this point so I can put it up for sale soon.

It's a pain in the butt. Just pull the upper intake. Takes less time.

Magnecore, STI or Kingsbourne plug wires are best, 8mm is recommended, 7mm came on it from the factory.

So if it's not the wire then coil next? Haven't had time to play with the wire just trying to figure it out ahead of time. How hard is the coil to do?

Any market out there for a 2001 D2, 108k, black with tan interior and black wheels, new Head Gaskets, valve job, new radiator, battery, brakes in the last 10k, tires last January with a CEL for number five misfire? I could effectively get $1000 or so by donating it at my tax bracket, but would rather get more.
