I paid $6300 for my '03 IIS from a dealer. They were asking $10,500. I am SUPER happy with my purchase, but it is VERY clean compared to others I've seen, and I looked at many.

In California, you could get around $5500-$6500 on the street pretty easily if it's clean. A rough one goes for $3500-$4500 with NO service records.

People like the Status they feel when they drive these around California. Where I happen live in Placerville, CA, there's actually a good use for them, Mountains, Snow, Mud, Beaches, Deserts, Malls, etc... Most of California likes to drive down the Freeway and Look Cool.

I traded in my 03' SE7 with 70K on it and the dealer gave me $7400.00 I thought it was a good deal. I paid 11K for it when I purchased 3 years ago.

Just bought a 2003 Disco SE with 79K for $7,400. Came with 7 inch navigation/DVD system, factory front bumper guard, rear lamp guards, tow package and running boards. Similar Discos of the same condition, mileage and condition are showing up on the Pacific NW Craigslist for around $8K to $11K. There are cheaper Discos around but they certainly reflect bad wear and tear. I checked out over 15+ Discos before getting this lucky find.

So far no hits but I am determined. I do love the disco but it no longer fits my needs with towing.

$6,500 sounds most resonable for your 04 Disco. Now that the LR3 is dropping down in price more people can afford one, bad news for D2 cause that means their value drops as well regardless of their condition nods or records.

Hey man. Why hate on that Cali love? Besides all these people that neglect them around here help with the surplus of Rovers at the salvage yard.
