Default Serp Belt tensioner replacement alternative!

I noticed the bearing on my serpentine belt tensioner was a little rough when I removed it. I went searching for a new roller but found I could not get the roller separately from the entire tensioner.

I looked at the roller and noticed the bearing was just secured with cir-clip. I got the number off the bearing and found it at McMaster-Carr for $12.

P/N: 2349K422 if any one is interested. I am ordering mine today.

You can buy just the bearing but unless you have a press, you are better off buying a pulley say from Atlantic British.

The bearing just tapped out with hammer when I took the clip off. I'll put a little Loc-tite around it when I install it. Should work just fine.

I guess I'm glad I didn't find the pulley separately!

I bought my pulley like 2 years ago from Autozone for $20?
Also bought my oil pressure sensor from them, $14.
Serp belt, plugs, air filter...you get the idea.
You dont always have to order online.

That is good to know about the bearing though, incase someone cant get the pulley anywhere.
