Default SES Dash light

The SES light is on on my '03 Disco II (128k miles). Did an OBD scan check which showed P1412 and P1415 codes (SAI leak/bad solenoid). I also recently replaced the air filter with a K&N filter which some here think is not so good. My mpg's have dropped over the last couple tankfuls and my question is this:
could either or both of these issues (codes/filter) be the cause of the sh**y mpg or is something else at work? I am in the middle of a major service so any help would be appreciated. Regards, Art

Yes, these could effect your MPG.

When I got both those codes I changed out the purge valve with the genuine Hyundai part and it fixed it, twice(2 different vehicles).

Hyundai part number is 28910-22040

Thank you Abran. I found a disconnected hose (fixed) but at 128K miles I may change out the purge valve anyway.

LR uses 12 and 15 codes to indicate low air flow for bank one and two, respectively. If you fixed the leak on the main hose you got both of them.
