Default SES Light

Had an issue back in the fall with the SES light and it was giving me the lean bank codes, don't remember exactly the numbers, and I assumed it was the MAF. I went against advise and cleaned it figuring if it was bad I couldn't do much more damage to it. The light stayed off for a while but came back on today. Checked the code and it was the P0734 Gear 4 ratio incorrect code.

Should I assume the MAF is finally dead, should I check anything else before replacing the MAF?

Also, where is the best place online to get the MAF; Atlantic British is 220.

Is it your check engine light (yellow) or service engine light (red)? I'm just curious.

It says "Service Engine Soon" and it is yellow and not blinking. By the way, it is a 2001 with 93000 on it.

DMM is digital multimeter. I guess the D2 uses only a service engine soon light rather than a separate check engine and service engine like the D1.

Call Tony at the LRRF, 650-365-4145, he will have one of the better prices on a new Bosch MAF.
