A few things that I noticed:
- It's in the snow belt of NY. He doesn't mention anything about rust
- "infinitely adjustable leather front seats" ... Sure, as long as you don't want to move them back to far
- "this vehicle lists for $6500" uh-huh. Maybe a dealer, not private party (more like $3000)

I'd pass. You can do better.

Right on. My KBB iPhone app says the private party on this vehicle in "good" condition is right at $4,000. Fair (more likely) is $3,375.

Plus I'm not buying the whole "babied" angle when the rear handle is broken off and the three Amigos are blazing.

+2 on the pictures being touched up as well.

I live in Indianapolis, bought my 2003 on eBay in 2007 with only 49,000 miles in Alexandria Virgina, flew into Washington D.C. Guy picked us up in the Rover from the airport. Went back to his shop checked it out. Test drove it alone. Had lunch. Had it indepentntly inspected from the former Land Rover dealer. Tech said its one of the cleanest ones he had ever seen. Small oil leak from crankshaft seal. Came back bought it for $12,500 cash and when to D.C. to check out the Smithsonian museums. If you find a good one it may be worth a road trip. I rode my bike to work thru rain and shine for almost 2 months with no car and I would do it again. I love my Rover I am hooked, just perform all the maintenance yourself and its an affordable vehicle if you have a small work commute. I work from home and drive to the Post office about 6 miles a day...so it works out. For Discovery's; its definently a buyers market out there. I test drove 6 locally before I found the Green HSE. None drove as strong as mine.

I would consider this one. It has some miles but looks hard and if you are on the east coast it may be worth a look. You could hit a bull moose with this bumper and still come out on the winning end.

This one was listed on Craigslist in Seattle for a little while, but was flagged and removed....might have been deleted because it wasn't local but still seems suspicious. That bumper IS pretty manly

Yeah careful.. now that you say that There was one in Chicago the same Bumper. But what these scammers probably do is look for pictures and use them for their own gain. I mean who doesn't want a 2003 range rover for 2950$?? I'd try to call and talk to them first if you were considering it.

I did find that one off new yorks site as well that price is about right and lists a phone number.

I'd go for a newer model.

Weird right? Wonder if he was just posting it in all the major cities to try and get hits?

Hadn't seen that Kalahari. That one looks pretty solid. Strange it doesn't have fender flares? Don't know that I've ever seen a DII without flares? There's another one on there that has this "Kalahari" sticker and I'm jealous that I don't have one....

And I agree, you can't beat the Typhoons, I just painted mine black (your wheels were my inspiration).

There's some serious Photoshop action going on in those photos.
