Looks like I stand corrected. That being said, I still believe the Sport Shock to be a better shock for standard in town driving and especially off road and that is based on all the reports written from old time and new OME shocks. I also believe, call me old school, that you can not build a equal or better shock then the OME , Bilstein or Iron Man and sell them for 30 to 50% less.
Thats my 2 cents worth.

Your opinion is based on your experience. I respect your experience and I respect your opinion.
That said, my opinion is also based on my experience. I have done a side-by-side comparison of the two shocks. And I will post it up. Let me know what you think.

Nice video regarding build quality. I'd like to see a video comparing the shocks being used harshly as well.

Good video but I wish he would have given some specifics on what is inside as far as piston size, etc. in a apples for apples comparison. You can go to the websites for both models but it's hard to compare.

Also the did not give the price for the second TF shock, wonder if it is closer in price to the OME. I have to admit the welds do look better on the TF models but I've never broken any of my OME shocks after 4 years of use and I have a habit of hitting speed bumps in parking lots pretty hard!

Oh I know they can take a beating, I'm referring to testing the two on a machine that constantly compresses the shock quickly against each other. See which one fades first.
