My apologies, I actually misread the intent of the poll. You are asking if you should write a how to on a transfer case (which can't hurt, but is likely unnecessary). I took your title to mean should YOU do the job (the transfer case) or not. Which seemed a ridiculous poll to create.

So my apologies. I misread it/misunderstood the intent.

I am waiting on some parts (here in Alaska) and as I look this over I agree, probably not really necessary (a write up) but it is still under consideration. As mentioned, can't hurt to have more info.

Default be carfull....

I had my TC done at a transmission shop with all the best lifts and equipment. They are very busy and have been around for years as they do a great job. The owner told me after 2 days......yea...ran into some snags... that he would never do another one of these again... 2004 discovery.... Just FYI....
