Default Should I replace the spring isolators?

My D2 has 140k miles and I am planning for a suspension upgrade and need to order parts. So far I don't see damage or wear on the isolators. Should I replace them preemptively?

I've never seen a bad one except by rust. I never replace them, actually keep old ones for spares in case I need an extra half inch front or rear to level a truck out.

yes, replace them. Given the age of our trucks anything rubber is probably at the end of its design life. I replaced mine when I did my shocks and springs this year.

Is there an absolute need? I don't know, but this is a case where an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. They are cheap and it's always nice to replace worn component with new ones. FYI the D1 rear spring seats are 1/2" higher so it's a cheap way to get another 1/2" lift on the back. I did this because I'm loaded up with a RTT and other camping stuff and I didn't want harsh heavy duty springs so it keeps things level.

Good input from others here. I’ll add the isolators to my list. Thought about shock towers - but mine are solid (CA fair weather Queen).

I’m right in the middle of doing this myself. All bushings are being replaced w genuine LR (I have spare radius arms, panhard, and watts rods(?) I’m refurbishing), new drag and steering bars, new shocks and steering dampeners. Just stuck on springs…

What springs are you going with? I was thinking genuine LR with maybe SE7s for the rear if they are a little firmer - don’t want sagging when loaded. Having a hard time settling on this.

Thanks!
