Default Should I stick with Dexcool?

I replaced every gasket and seal in the engine. Should I stick with Dexcool or switch to something else. I head Dexcool is corrosive.

Thank you,
Willie

I have read enough bad stuff about Dexcool, so I switch to G05 coolant when I did the headgaskets on the 2000 Disco, and will do the same with the 2003 when I do the headgaskets on that one. I figure if it is good enough for Mercedes to use its good enough for my Rovers.

No isn't quite the right word so I'll go with HELL NO you don't want to stay with Dexcool. It turns to acid and damages your engine and cooling system.

Dex is fine engines that don't leak or if you flush your coolant regularly. Personally I like G05 or old fashion green coolant. The universal coolants are fine too (prestone, peak) but they are similar to dexcool.

they are similar but the Peak Global substitutes a different organic acid for 2-EHA. 2-EHA is in Peak Lifetime and Dex-cool and is known to destroy!
