Question Shuddering

Hi
i have experinced a intermittent shuddering.
This usually happens not long from starting the vehicle. It seems to disappear once the vehicle is warm.
I had recently had the engine oil and transmission oil changed with the filter. It didn't do this prior to the service.
Does anyone had this experience? not a mechanic just a guy who changes the oil and the odd filter now and then.

My '03 had a sort of hesitation once in a while but I think the cause of mine was a cam bearing that had fallen out of the block and then was getting wedged between the cam and lifter occasionally sticking that valve open and causing it to hesitate. I think that may also have been the cause of the tick in my engine but I'm not sure. I'll have to get the new head gaskets in and give it a test drive.

Check engine light on?
Might want to have codes scanned (in case it hasn't triggered due to drive cycles, etc) even if the light it not on.

Does it shudder in park with engine reved up slightly, or is it related to the tranny and moving? Maybe wrong type of fluid was used, or the old fluid remaining in the torque converter has diluted the new fluid (with respect to cleanliness). Was tranny filter changed or just engine oil filter?

The shuddering happens usually in drive and sometimes in reverse. At stationary or slow speeds <30kms.
funnily enough when it is slightly revved it disappears.. go figure?
dex 3 was used for the tran and i also had a new filter kit put in the transmission.
good point about the torque converter i will ask the mechanic if he cleaned the old oil out of the torque converter
One time the sports mode and manual mode came up flashing this was fixed by turning the engine off and on again. (this happened only once)

You may want to verify how much fluid he installed and if you know how, check the fluid level, you may be low.
