Default Shuttle valve nightmares

Need some expertise on this. I originally had the shuttle valve code and a rear abs sensor code. Replaced the shuttle valve and cleaned the rear abs sensor, and 3 amigos went off but keep coming back again. Now only have a shuttle valve electrical code. What else could it be? Sorry, I’m chasing issues all over the place besides this. Thanks for any suggestions!

You can replace the shuttle valve Switches FOREVER but the problem is inside the Wabco unit itself. Do Option B to work around it for good!

At the risk of being a PITA (a highly-developed skill of mine), I expect we're talking about the shuttle valve SWITCHES here, not the shuttle valves.

It's not a nightmare. This is well documented on this and other forums.

As Best4x4 wrote, you can replace the shuttle valve switches FOREVER and not address the real problem.

The "Shuttle Valve Switch Electrical Failure" fault (or whatever your code reader calls it) is most often (?) caused the a failure of the printed circuit buried deep in the ABS module connector, and is not caused by the shuttle valve switches (SVSs) themselves. The Option B instructions describe how to test the SVSs with a multimeter to check resistance.

Option B is your friend, and it's relatively easy to and the parts and supplies needed cost only a few (<$10?) bucks; much less than the shuttle valve switches.

Yep like I said no one should ever just replace the shuttle valve switches and call it a day. Always perform the Option B mod to ensure the Wabco unit will NEVER act up on you again. Glad you got it all taken care of

Update: so haven’t gotten the 3 lights again but occasionally when I start up the truck the abs light will stay on for a bit. Also twice now the abs and another one of the 3 amigo lights will chime and show. Just the 2 lights

Have you done the Option "B" repair? It is going to keep coming back in one form or another until you do the Option "B" repair.

I did do the option b repair. Replaced shuttle valve and all sensors that came with the bearings.
