Side steps OEM
I have them but unfortunately they’re fused in place with rust. If they were to be removed you’d need to use a cut off wheel or a sawzall - I haven’t bothered to do so yet. I believe they’re also a single piece along with the front mudflaps.
I’ve got a set (Chevron style) I’ll entertain selling off my 1999 if those work for you. The actual boards are off, however, the hangers are still on my truck and I have no idea how big of a pain it will be to get them off. I’ll try sometime this week. If I can get them off we can arrange a sale. I have no idea how much they go for or how much it is to ship them so toss out some number (or DM me).

Yep! A couple of bolts secure the board to the hanger after which the board slides right out, then it’s just a matter of removing the hangers from the frame.
Thanks, I’ll take a look. Losing the boards would make my life way easier crawling around under the truck.
That’s why I took mine off originally, so I could do some maintenance, then I decided I didn’t care for the look of them but just never got around to removing the hangers.
Does removing them also get rid of the front mudflaps? Sorry to hijack the thread.
Yes, the front mud flaps are integral to the side steps. I have a front set I pulled off a junker that’s in the back lot of jobs I’ve been meaning to get around to.
