I got my set of hoses today.
I’m used to seeing HPS quality 3 and 4 ply silicone hoses but these are from China and I don’t know what to think about them.

First off they are 3ply. The layers should be even all the way around the diameter of the hose. Mine are staggered a bit.

No frayed strands on the hose ends which is great and shows a clean cut.

All clean cuts except for the bleed valve looks a bit dodgy with the screw clamp that bites into the hose. I hate that they used that type of clamp.

I agree they are not up to the standards of Brand name hoses but we also didn't pay the price of brand name. My bleed valve isn't cut into like yours is but I will be replacing the clamp for a sleeved worm clamp to make sure that it doesn't. I just started draining my coolant so we shall see later how they hold pressure.

After installing this hose set I saw leaks around almost all of the fittings, initially I took this to mean the spring clamps weren't holding tight enough. After replacing them all with Breeze liner hose clamps I still have leaks around the ends of the hoses/fittings.. I am not happy about this but am still troubleshooting..

Went and picked up a powerbuilt #940427 loaner coolant pressure tester from Autozone. Adapter #5 for BMW seems to be a perfect fit. Pumped it up and it's held 15psi for 30+ mins (preheat oven, cook pizza, eat pizza ). Made me happy until I looked closer at where I've seen coolant leaks. It looks like the coolant is seeping through the layers of the hoses..

I haven't decided if I am going to just keep running them and deal with the slight weeping or try to deal with the return..

Scratch that.. I'm already past the 30-day warranty.. So I will keep running them.

I think you should contact the seller immediately and work on getting a replacement. If they are weeping now, it will get worse (IMO) and because you waited you will not get a refund or replacement.

Day 43 of a 30 day warranty, message and picture sent, I have no faith in this.

That really sux!

Strange for a hose, especially silicone to weep/leak in the reinforcing threads.
Although the only thing that looks "silicone" on that hose is the tape that is wrapped around it.

I almost wonder if the tape is not allowing the lined clamp to tighten all the way.
Base on how tight the cheap worm clamp was on the bleed screw fitting it could be possible.

I hope you can get his sorted...Good Luck!
