Although the only thing that looks "silicone" on that hose is the tape that is wrapped around it.

I almost wonder if the tape is not allowing the lined clamp to tighten all the way.
Base on how tight the cheap worm clamp was on the bleed screw fitting it could be possible.

I hope you can get his sorted...Good Luck!
Looks promising

Well that's positive, at least they are communicating with you.

Lets hope the kids get it right this time!

I'll happily support the children rather than fatten some corporate CEOs pockets I emailed HPS asking if it was possible to make us hoses.

Hey Tim,

Thank you for your interest in our products. Our intention is to provide quality product to the consumer for a reasonable price, but unfortunately because of the layout of the factory hoses, the cost for us to produce that kit is too high to keep the consumer price within reason. The kit will approximately come out to be a little over 450$.

Thank you,

Glad to see they responded.
I'm waiting on my shipment of Zerex coolant from the states and then I'm installing my hoses.
Maybe I should just use water first to test out, huh?
I wonder if they even pressure test these hoses? Yep... I get what I paid for...

After some confuaion with USPS attempting to deliver to my old address and taking a couple extra days I got my new upper hose. I just got done reinstalling it, refilled, bled, and heat cycled it a couple times. It's looking like there aren't any leaks with this hose! If you ordered from r-champion(or probably any other ebay seller) don't hesitate to ask even if the warranty period is over. They value their feedback ratings greatly and will do what they can to keep them high.

Nice!!! I use Zerex also but the G05 type.
Man.... I still have my silicone hoses sitting in the bag in the back of my Disco so I still don’t know if they will work.

I use the zerex Asian in my Tacoma, so it seemed silly to use different coolants.
