The snow yesterday was awesome, reminded me of living up in Houghton in the UP, except we would get that for 8 days instead of 8 hours. I didn't shovel yesterday so the neighbors could see my tracks going in and out of the garage in the Rover and the A4 with no problems. The Envoy across the street couldn't get out...

I'll trade a truck load of snow for a diesel Rover, Defender or Discovery, I'm not picky.

East side of Mich (by me) got about 8 inches of snow. I finaly got to use my new snowblower. Anyway, Spike is right, I too saw explorers, pickups and vehicles that should have 4 wheel drive spinning out and not being able to move through the snow. Of course, it could also be the pilot and not the plane... Too many folks around here think 4x and snow still means 85mph and tailgating.

I've driven my work's explorers in the snow, and they suck in 4x.

we have got about 6 inches of snow in the last 6 hours or so.

went up to the store to get some cold meds and just to get out and drive around in the snow.

it always amazes me the amount of morons who are on the roads. the ones who cant seem to find a lane in the snow and drive in two. the people with no head lights on. the ones going 50 in the snow on a 35mph road. etc etc etc.

no wonder when it snows in seattle we have so many issues. we have a endless amount of idiots to feed to the ditches and guard rails.
