Default Sinking suspension problem

Hi, I am having a problem with my 2000 Series II. The rear suspension sinks sometimes when parked. Here's the cause and effect: When I sit on the back bumper while getting ready for a bike ride, I'll come back from the ride and it's slumping. When put in gear after starting it'll pump itself back up in about 2 or 3 minutes. What do I need to do (other than lose weight :-))?

Many thanks

Hey Bill!

How many miles do you have on your truck? Do you have the SLS?

Check the air hose connections at the pump to make sure they haven't come loose. If they do your pump will run a lot more than normal and likely wear out quickly. Otherwise probably a leaky bag.

Bill,
How many miles on your truck, are you on your original air bags?
What happens if you just part at home or work, will it stay up during the day?

Thanks for the replies. It's got about 76,000 miles, the last 12,000 with me.
In just normal use, if there's no extra load on the rear, parking during the day, etc., it does not sink.
Yes, it does have SLS.

Sounds like it is time to have he system scanned and possibly recalibrated.
