Slider production feeler thread

Thanks man... I worked pretty hard making those... little trial and error.. mostly error but they came out sweet I think.

Haha
I'm a little short on cash at the moment, and my passenger window regulator just failed this evening ( :U ), but I'd like to put myself down for a set in the near future.
Will be nice to actually have some sliders, and no doubt cool as hell to show these off and promote them at the events and shows I go to.

Unfortunately, I live in California, and I'm sure I'd be in prison tonight if I had that firearm anywhere near me... It's really nice to know the only ones around here that have guns are the bad guys...
I'm anxious to hear the price on these. They turned out really nice. Great job.
Also, I guess it's a safe bet to assume you served, so I want to say Thank You!

The only way you can overbuild is by weight. It's not too fine of a line to watch, but if you build everything out of 3/16 vs 1/4" - the 1/4" stuff will add a TON of weight, when you talk about front and rear bumpers, sliders, skidplates...
Alot of the Jeep guys are going to aluminum stuff, just for this reason. You can run thicker aluminum with less weight. It's hard to argue saving 25lbs on just a belly skid. I however, enjoyed using 1/4" steel for mine, and destroying any rocks I hit.

I've looked all over the internet at everything all the other guys are offering and most are using 1/8" steel!!! That's crazy to me... what's the point if it doesn't actually protect anything? Sure were not taking these to war but the zombie apocalypse is coming dudes!!! And you need something sturdy when plowing over those corpses!!
I could have made these cheaper, but why? In business I've learned that materials used and knowledge go hand in hand with skill. If even one of those is missing your gonna have a bogus product.
So enough of my sales pitch, I did this to support our Rover community. Im not spamming these all over the internet just here. I may continue to make other products, or I might just stop with these. Depends on how these are received and what the demand is. I hope that when you decide you want some sliders or maybe something else we can work together and create something together that will help our community here.
Proudly made of American steel only, with an American welder, by American hands, for Americans.
