Default slow brake fluid leak

I have a pin hole leak somewhere in my brake system, I use about 2 caps full of fluid a month. As I have a few things to do when the weather is better, I figured it is time get this sorted out.

There are no obvious signs of fluid, at least that I can find. Any good suggestions on how to track it down, as it is not a circulating system I do not think dye will work. It may be the master but I need to clean up under there to confirm.

Brke pressure is ok not perfect, better after the ABS pulses or a single pedal press.

A common area for leaks is the rubber grommet under the fluid reservoir. Do a search on here for rubber grommet. Look for a leak directly under the reservoir. A double pronged pin holds the reservoir on. Pull pin towards front of truck to remove for inspection.

@PalmettoDisco that was my 1s thought - but it has been a bit nippy to be out under the hood. I need to do a through clean under there to check it, there is wee bit of dust and crap there.

That’s where mine was leaking from. Had to take it to a local Indy shop for a proper bleed after I put a new reservoir kit on.

Other sneaky spots for a seep = caliper pistons. Usually it'll get absorbed by all the dirt/debris/brake dust in the caliper unless it's a massive leak. #1 spot for sure is the reservoir though no doubt.
