I am so not mechanically inclined.........OK, a while back i mentioned that i thought i could smell anti-freeze. But my reservoir seems to maintain near full. I have out some in once since January. But I was wondering if what i am smelling is the antifreeze when it comes out of the little tiny straw/spout (looks like the little straw on a can of wd40) and hits the metal on the engine...? Maybe when the engine heats up a little escapes.....who knows.......or the other thing i was thinking is perhaps this smell i have once in a while is not anti freeeze but the smell from my power steering reservoir. My 2001 comes with some stabilizing thing that is part of the power steering. When i first purchased the vehicle it had this whinning noise that Land Rover Encino said was a normal noice and poart of the steering stabilizing thing. Well i noticed the other day when i put the hood up while the engine was running that the power steering reservoir fluid was bubbling. Is this normal when the vehicle is running or is perhaps the fluid getting hot and there lies my problem?????? I am not sure if any of this makes sense, but i have no idea how to explain the situation........LOL
