that really sucks....thas a great lookin truck. Id overpay for that beauty in a heartbeat.
Vehicle age has alot to do with it. When i got my 01, 3 banks turned us down just purely on vehicle age. Granted yours is an 04 but it still a consideration that goes into it.

 

bank usually will not finance a vehicle over 6-years old. If you have 6500 down apply for a personal loan for the rest, tell them you will give them the title as collateral if they wish.

 

Your halfway there just save up the other half and pay cash for it. Nothing worse then a car payment, making monthly payments and interest on something going down in value and costing you repairs just sucks. Sure, this one will be sold but there are still other ones out there.
