Default So where did you drill through your firewall?

I'm just still trying to find the best place to start passing wires through for various electronic upgrades. No place seems "easy"; as in I will have to remove a lot of crap to get through.
So what did you do?

Exactly! I used the hole behind the glove box, real easy way, no drilling.

Hmm, I don't see that. I didn't mention I have SAI. so behind the glove box is a giant, useless, annoying, loud pump

Reach under that pump and you'll feel the rubber plug. I promise it's there! I ran my gauge wiring through the plug.

x3 on the rubber grommet behind glove box and under the SAI pump! I just pulled a 4 gauge power line thru it.

Also, next to that towards the fender you will see a large oblonged grommet that has a bunch of wires going thru the bottom portion. Top part is wide open and I pulled my 4 gauge ground thru that!

I just poked a small hole through the rubber boot around the main harness on the drivers side and pulled my gauge wiring through there, and then did the same thing on the passenger side to feed my amp but using the other grommets is a great alternative also.

x4 grommet. I put a 5 core plastic shrouded cable through for various instruments and sealed it in with RTV mastic, it's about the easiest place to find.

2x on the main wiring harness boot top left driver side. I pulled my oil pressure gauge wire and driving lamp wire through a new hole I poked with a punch. I put some marine silicone on the outside and dabbed some on the inside. I could not see any light through so I was comfortable with it.
