Default Some interior questions

Still looking/considering a Disco 2 as a weekend toy. Been looking at every Disco 2 for sale I can find o the web and can't find the answer to my questions.
1st will the rear seats fold all the way down flat- as flat as the cargo area floor? 2nd what is the length from the tail gate to the back of the front seats?
Looking to do some car camping and what to know if I will fit in the back of my future Disco and it would be nice to have a flat sleeping area.

The seats fold down first then flip forward , if I was truly camping inside I would remove a seat or two and make a small platform , I haven’t done that yet tho so maybe someone else can offer more help

The third row seats fold down flat in an LR3, In a D2 they fold to the side as in the pic above. As mentioned the second row seats do not fold flat either. they tilt forward into the foot space behind the front seats and do not make a flat floor long enough to sleep on unless you are 4'10"

You can buy a D2 without the third row seats. The HSE7 and SE7 models have the third row. the base model S and SE do not have the third row. the model names without 3rd row seats vary by year. Instead of the 3rd row seats you get storage compartments located where the third row seats retract to along the sides under the side glass.

I’ve gone to a few drive ins and I’m 5,8
and I can’t lay down without the door open . If you don’t need the rear seats you can build a platform like this picture

I pull the the passenger side rear seat, and have a platform like escott16. All I have to do is move the front passenger set forward and I am set. My platform. is 2 pieces the front just slides forward when I set up for the night. I travel solo so I generally leave the drive side rear seat in place

5-9 here so I would need to remove the rear seats and still move the front passenger seat all the way forward, that sucks At least the floor is flat I currently use my 05 Tahoe as my boon docking ride an it works well for sleeping in.

I did similar.. Removed that larger of the rear seats and built a platform. I made a 3rd piece to the platform where I can move the passenger seat up and lay down. I'm 6'3" and have camped in it like this.
