Hi Guys, I have searched this forum but i dont know if i am putting in the right parameters and cannot find the answer to a simple question. How much coolant do I need to get to replace whats in mine. it a 2003 4.6. Yes i have Dex col in atm and I am going to replace with peak green so will do 2 flushes with distilled water then add the green.

From RAVE - capacities :

Cooling system - V8 Engine:
⇒ Refill 24.2 pt
⇒ Fill from dry 26.2 pt

13.1 quarts, if totally dry, or just over 3 gallons. You'll use the extra for topping off and air burping, so get 4 gallons.

Replace your t/stat and pressure cap when changing out your coolant and add a bottle of either Water Wetter or Purple Ice to the coolant.
