You can blow out that fan with a computer duster threw the grill with out removing the unit.

 

Look at the pictures on the first post of this thread, the sensor is the little bulb in the middle of the inlet, the fan is right behind it. https://landroverforums.com/forum/di...-sensor-50556/ one might be able to take it apart but I've never tried, looks like a "all in one" unit. It's not real difficult to remove, I talked about it in that post.
