I'm running Terrafirma +2 shocks with new OME springs and a 1" spacer in back. Rides great, but I would not push it higher w/ spacers.

Can i ask why you would want the back higher than the front. Why a spacer in back only?

If you do not use the D1 spring perch/spring seat on the D2, some new springs once installed will leave the rear lower than the front, so rear spacers can level it out. Depending on how stiff a spring you went with, the rear may also drop a little when you load it up.

Stock D2 rear spring seat bolts = Bolt Flange Head M10 X 1.5 X 30MM Grade 10.9

I also asked this on another thread...Im do moderate off road and am looking for a 1-2inch lift due to my wheel and tire size and rubbing what do you recommend in the $300-$400 rand for shocks and springs? I currently have rear springs on front and rear due to the wight of the ARB bumper. What is a cost effective set up?

Thanks Hokie, you would have to put soft springs on for that to happen or be loading it up real heavy and if someone plans to be loading up heavy you should be riding on HD springs seems like if you put spacers in the back and had nothing loaded up the back would be higher that the front.

Your price range is going to severely limit your options...possibly to the point of only being able to pick up a used lift (springs and shocks only).

Search this forum and others. The variety of possibly solutions has been discussed ad nauseum...

In my case, I used Terrafirma +2 shocks all around with Med duty ARB springs in front and 1" spacer with stock springs in rear. Total cost is $400-$450 plus installation depending on where you buy parts from. After the springs settle a bit, it sits almost exactly level and the ride is very good.

Do you have a stock front bumper? I was thinking of hd springs in the front and new shocks all around and a 2" spacer in the rear to get a 3" lift. How much of a lift do you have and did you have to change brake lines?

Yes, I have stock bumper right now, but may add a brush guard soon. Center of wheel to fender is 21". So overall it's only about 1 1/2 inch lift. Did not need to change brake lines.
