Finished up replacing head gaskets on my 2001 Disco II last night. Noticed this morning I have some spare parts left 🙁. Can't figure out where these bolts are supposed to be installed. Any ideas? I'm stumped, would like to know before I fire 'er up!
Mystery solved - turns out it was the PAS pump bolts underneath the pulley!
Can't remember everything, but just took my heads off...
AC Compressor 4 bolts.
AC/powerstreering pump/bracket 2 or 3 bolts
Alternator 2 bolts.
Alternator bracket 4 bolts.
Water pump, 6 short and 3 long bolts.
Spare parts left after head gasket job
