Default Spark Plug???

I am changing my spark plugs and I trying to figure out what's the gapping. My spark plug is Bosch Platinum Plus. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Look on the sticker inside your engine compartment. What year is your truck? Have you already replaced the wires?

It's a 98 Discovery. I am replacing the plugs and wires. Right now they are gapped at .040. Rave manual stated 084-096 for Champion, I don't know if it's the same gapping for Bosch.

Dude you are smart...LOL I found the sticker and it stated 033-038 and the plugs look like they are pre-gap. Thanks for you help.

I never use platinum plugs so I don't know if it applies, but if the spec is .033-.038 then .040 is too wide. It's good to be on the high end (for a hotter longer arc), but you still want to be within spec. If you get too wide though, you can get a weak spark and/or misfires.
