You, as a new member on this site, might want to so a search for 8 mm Magnacor wires, one of the most talked about subjects on this and most other Rover sites.
After you do a little of the work, if you then need help on installing them, and you will, then get back to us.
By the way, you will find sites on the section showing those wires for around $90 and shipping.

http://www.apexperformance.net/CartGenie/prod-1155.htm

$85.90 + S&H best price on the interwebs as far as I can tell.

Some people on other forums say Kingsborne wires are equal to magnacors at half the price. I went with the magnacors as they are proven. I will let others test the kingsbornes for a while.

I got by Magnecore from Apex and they were great to deal with. I'd moved my coil and they, or Magnacore, I can't remember which, sent me a longer coil wire free.

I ordered my 8mm Magnecor wires from http://www.lrrforums.com/store/index...oduct_id=29893

I ordered Bosch 4+ platinum spark plugs at my local auto store.

There is also a tutorial (on the main page of this Disco subforum) on replacing them without having to remove the IM.

Haven't had a problem at all since replacing them. I went with the best as suggested by the fine gents here.

Get the 8mm Magnecor wires and follow the sticky on the Disco page for installation steps.

I have just received my set direct from Magnecor in the mail, however they probably didn't understand me because of my accent and sent me the correct set but in 7mm. Is there really a big difference between the 8mm and the 7mm in terms of performance?

I was looking at doing the replacement this weekend, and it will be a pain to have to send them back for a 8mm set.
