Spark Plugs Discontinued
Bosch Platinum +4's have been discontinued. If anyone knows what the new replacement is closest to the Bosch Platinum +4's please let me know. The other options for Bosch don't have 4 prongs only 2.
When I switched copper Champions and stock grey 7mm to Bosch Platimum 4's with Magnacore 8mm wires and grease - There was a gain in responsiveness, low end power and MPG. The plugs and wires have lasted 9 years According to Disco Mikes older posts Iridium results in a loss of lower end power...
I would really rather stick with what works My Rover is super heavy weight loaded to the max and needs low end power. Does anyone know what the current model number for the Bosch Platinum 4's?

So much snake oil with spark plugs.
Just go with what Land Rover specified - double-platinum Champion 7070s (RC11PYPB4).
If you choose to go with something else, just make sure they are double-platinums and in the same heat range.
Copper plugs last only a fraction of how long double platinum plugs last in a wasted spark system like that used in the DII.
Google the term "wasted spark" and learn.

Bosch 2X/4X in a LR V8 = a disaster waiting to happen. They can foul easily vs other plug designs due to the center electrode which sits flush with the insulator. Other brands have the center electrode sticking out of from the insulator. This is not just me saying oh Bosch 2X/4X is crap this a well proven flaw with those plugs in a lot of applications. Bosch regular Double Platinum plugs do not have the same design or issue.
I personally highly recommend NGK Double Platinum or Iridium plugs (came factory in the LR3 for example) very good plugs. A more common plug to find without having to order them online = Autolite Double Platinum or Iridium. I've run both on all my LR's over the years with ZERO faults or issues, and it's what I recommend to friends and customers that I did work on their LR's.

I think those have the electrode sticking out from the insulator = fine. It's just the units with the flush mounted electrode which were total garbage in a LR V8.

I need to get myself back on track.
Bosch Platinum +4 has been discontinued. The model number was 4418. What are the closest plugs comparable to Bosch Platinum +4's on the market now. They have 4417 and 4419. Are these comparable to the old 4418's? If not what is most comparable..

These are on e-bay but they are out of the question - different years, old worn packaging, manufacturing drift

You can see the 4 prong design vs. these single prong designs.
