Spark Plugs Discontinued
Mileage may very I guess, but just look up Bosch 2X/4X reviews nothing but snake oil really. I don't know of a single person/mechanic in the automotive world who recommend the Bosch 2X/4X, Splitfire plug, or E3 plug. Your normal Double Platinum plug is all you really need. Iridium is fine, but you will not see any gains from using them. I've run them in several LR's because that's what was in stock. I didn't buy them for any performance increases.
Every single LR I've ever touched with a serious misfire issue no one could track down = I discovered Bosch plugs with the flat center electrode covered in carbon deposits. Slap in normal style plugs and problem is gone for good. Heck it even happened on my 02 Kalahari a year after I bought it. Suddenly misfire faults and I discovered Bosch 2X plugs. Replaced them with Autolite Iridium plugs (no one had NGK in stock so went with my second choice) and back to running like a champ.
A lot of stuff has changed in the LR world as far as tips & tricks to keeping these things going since DiscoMike last posted. Denso, NGK, Autolite, and Champion are all I'd ever use. Those 2X/4X plugs were discontinued for a reason I promise you. If you want to stick with Bosch use the Double Platinum 8100, or Iridium 9652.

10 years 40-50k miles zero issues with original Bosch Platinum +4 plugs 8mm Magnacore wires and grease. That is what worked for me. I understand you had a bad experience and love Champions - but if you look at the old discussions on this forum you will see most people liked changing to Bosch Platinum +4s. Disco Mikes Rover went ten years with the same setup as mine.
I don't want to use Iridium because they produce less low end power. I want more low end power so I am asking what is closest to Bosch Platinum +4's because I had an extremely good experience with them.

40-50K is nothing to be honest. Platinum, Double Platinum, Iridium, and Ruthenium plugs are 100K plugs easy, and we're talking a LR V8 here it rolled off the factory with low end power aka torque. That's what the V8 is known for, Bosch 2X/4X plugs did not give that engine low end power/torque, it already had it. 8MM wires are also not really giving you any performance increase either. They are thicker and more durable for sure, but you will not see any increase in HP using them. You would have to upgrade the coil packs in order for the amount of spark to change.
Do as you wish it's your LR

Im not exaggerating when I say I wouldn't put Bosch plugs in a vehicle if someone gave them to me free. I'd just assume use 50k mile autolites. Especially the multiple-electrode variants.
Nobody led anyone to any water ... Nobody has answered the question ". what the closest thing is to BP4 ".... B4x4 said BP2 which is not the closest thing to BP4 ... BP4 makes other plugs for BMW and Rolls Royce I'm sure something is compatable but I want closest to BP4. seems Nobody knows
And the the ROVER ENGINE is made for BOSCH products ! ! ! ! ! ! !! !! I'm using the brand the car was made for !
Do you have the owner's manual for your truck? What spark plug is specified in the owner's manual. The manual for my truck specifies the Champion RC11PYPB4 (aka Champion 7070), which is what I said to you in my original reply in this thread.
I've included the relevant page from the owner's manual for my DII.
