Default Speaking of undercarriages....

Just curious here... From all you guys that have had Disco's for years (which I have not). With all the Froadin you have done - do you still have the PITA plastic cover under your engines.

A. Is it that durable to stay in place without breaking free?

B. If removed was it because its a PITA (pain in the ...), although I don't think there is anything between it and the engine (or on the engine) that needs periodic inspection??

C. I don't think it qualifies as a "skid plate" just curious to hear other thoughts about it

Take it off and throw it away, I did 7 years ago and never looked back. It will be easier to work on, keep clean, see leaks before they get out of hand and will the engine more cool air flow.

I took them both off when I got my Disco in 2001. They were just in the way.
