I have a 2000 discovery and apparently the Harmonic Balancer has developed a groove on it which eats up the front main seal. I have seen several posts about a speedy seal which can be placed on the balancer to prevent this. Is this correct and if so where can you buy one? Thanks in advance.

 

I have heard of this but do not know where to get one. If I remember you can replace the front seal for under $200.
I used RTV sealant, gooped it all around and made it nice and smooth, one year and 20k later still no leaks.
