Default front oil seal /harmonic balancer

I am about to change my front oil seal (hopefully tommorrow) and was wondering if I'm goin to run into any surprises. So if anyone has any input it would be much appreciated...

To tell the truth i would have a shop do it. I had a valve gasket changed and it blew again about an hour ago so it's a free change.

I replaced the front seal on my '96 last year. Not really a bad job...about two hours, if I remember correctly. Maybe an hour if you are fast. Just be careful not to distort the new seal when installing. I put a deep well socket against it and tapped it in with the hammer.

Yeah I'm definitely gonna do it myself. No one around wants to work on a Rover. Truthfully I probably don't want 'em to. I also need all the experience I can get...
