Default Sport and manual lights blinking along with the “D” Indicator

So I noticed today parking my rig in the garage that from drive to reverse and back to drive my D2s sport mode, manual mode, and D (drive) indicator started blinking.

I drove it around the block and it feels semi sluggish....

ive read that a common problem was the battery and I’m 99% sure the battery is good. It’s fairly new and clean.

no codes....

any ideas?

You need to get the trouble codes read with a diagnostic tester preferably a dedicated Land Rover tester. If not, it's a guessing game to find the source of the problem.
Post your fault codes here for us to review.

When you say no codes I'm guessing you're saying the SERVICE ENGINE SOON light is not on. Trans faults don't trigger the SES light; they trigger the flashing M and S lights.

As Juke said, get the transmission codes read.

I have a basic code reader I guess I’ll need something different.... do local auto parts stores have these readers? Auto zone, advanced auto, etc....?

At least you have a tester. Post all the fault codes when you can.
A great land Rover diagnostic tester is a Foxwell NT-520 or NT-530 for about $150 on line. An even better LR diagnostic tester is a Nanocom Evolution for about +$400.

And BTW, when the truck felt "semi sluggish" it was probably in limp home mode, which means the transmission stays in 3rd gear.

Where are you located? Perhaps someone on the forum is nearby and can help you out. It's a good idea to add your location to your forum profile.

An auto parts store should at least be able to read the transmission codes for you, even if they don't have an appropriate code reader for sale.
