Spray sealant
This may sound a little absurd, But, I've have a major problem with my left rear air spring. I know how to fix it etc. The problem is that its to the point that it deflates constantly and I'm afraid of burning out the compressor. It's going to be a few days to a week before I can actually fix the problem correctly. So, My question is this, I have some Spray sealant that it normally used for boats air mattresses duct work etc. It say it stays flexible, resist cracking, won't peel and is waterproof. If I spray this on the air spring, what are your thoughts on it working as a temporary fix ?

First, what is your idea of a proper repair. Both bags should be replaced, by your mileage they are both rotted.
Contact Arnott Industies and order some of their replacement bags while they are still open today and drive as little as possible til the new ones show up.
Ny the way, forget the spray on bandade, it won't hold up.

Unfortunately, This is my only vehicle. It's my daily driver and I work 20 mins away. The parts are on order, 2air springs and 2 rear shocks as well ( 2 sets of spring clips also ). When the parts arrive in the next few days, I may have to wait a bit still due to our crappy Canadian weather ( -28 Celsius ). Should get warmer soon. I'll be doing the work in my drive way, But when you cant feel your hands ..... I'm sure you get the picture. I was just hoping it migt last a short period of time until then.
