SRS light and temperature
On the subject of SRS lights.... I have noticed that in colder weather my SRS light will come on sometimes when I am driving. But upon restarting the engine it goes out. I know that sounds crazy, but its really what is happening. I live in NC two weeks or so ago it got cold and the light would come on every day durring driving. This week its been in the 70s and it has not happened once... Any ideas? Could it be that my ground connections are not up to par?
i am not sure this is connected but in the cold weather I would trip the check engine lights every 3 days or so. The codes were for low catalyst efficiency for both banks. Now that it is warm again, its fine. Also the truck has been running great with the Magnecors, fusion plugs and 4 new o2 sensors(installed 2 months ago). So could this be connected to bad grounds?
Any advice would be appreciated!

Are you still getting any check engine lights, if so which ones?
The only way to tell with the SRS is to have a mechanic scan the system when the lights are on and see what fault code shows up.
There is also one possibility for the SRS, how old is your battery? Clean the cable and check to see what your voltage is early in the morning on one of your cold days, if the voltage is 12 volts or less, that can be your problem, you would be throwing a low voltage fault for the SRS.

Since it has gotten warm again, I have not gotten any CELs or SRS lights... The CELs were always for low catalysit efficiency. The battery is new, but the sales guy told me they put in the cheapest of cheap batteries in their vehicles, so maybe on the cold days its just not strong enough. However the SRS light does not come on when the truck is first started, usually after about 10 mins.
