Not sure if it is normal or not but I pulled up the carpet in the back to take a look at the fuel pump. There was gasoline in the little circular piece where the wires connect to the pump. Is that normal?

I found the issue with the gas, the cross section on top of pump has a hairline crack in it. However, I dont think this is causing the stalling issue. I read where one guy had the same issue and used epoxy to seal it back. Gonna try that.

Just cleaned the purge valve out about an hour ago, it was completely caked with stuff. Went fine about half a mile up the road, then stalled. Just like you had turned the key off, lights, radio, all electronics stayed on and did not dim...

Any other ideas?

. When in park, I can rev limitlessly and it does not shut off. Only when driving.

Have you checked for vacuum leaks? Maybe a cracked hose or something?

To an extent... I have been cleaning a lot of stuff in the engine, I have not noticed any cracked or bad hoses...

I do have a question though as I am not educated one but on these disco 2 Bosch engines..

You know where the hose connects to the valve covers, the PCV valve maybe? The little spiral plastic piece that goes inside the tube? Well the one on the left side I pulled out and sprayed with carb cleaner, it was completely hardened with caked up debris. The one on the other side, after pulling the hose to clean it, it didnt even have a plastic spiral piece at all, is there supposed to be one on the driver side??
