I have a 96 disco with an irritating problem. Sometimes (at the moment 3 times a week) it doesn't start. No sound... nothing. We have tried with jump cables and by pulling the car....nothing. It can happen when the engine is cold but most of the time when it is not totally cooled. (for example after stopping for petrol or at a shop) The weather? It happens both in the summerin the cold and in the rain...

We had the startengine checked, battery recharged and replaced... now we have feeling that it might be the immobiliser

Sometimes it works 5 or 10 minutes later and sometimes longer. I love my car but when it doesn't work...it is not funny!

Any ideas?
